Every litter at Basset Hound Puppy is raised at home, in Nashville, Tennessee, with the same care we'd want for a dog joining our own family.
Who We Are
Raised Underfoot, Not in a Kennel
We keep our litters small on purpose. Every puppy spends its earliest weeks in our home — surrounded by everyday sounds, people, and gentle handling — so they’re ready for family life from the moment they arrive.
We work closely with our veterinarian on health testing for our sires and dams, and we’re honest about what that testing does and doesn’t guarantee. Our goal is a sound, even-tempered companion — not a transaction.
We stay involved after your puppy comes home, too. Questions about training, health, or just how they’re settling in are always welcome.
